I think I can eventually be a full-time musician
I decided to buy another mic for my sound system to do shows out on the streets.
- I guess if I keep practicing hard I can have a show that generates enough currency each week to cover my rent payments.
If I played several times a week and can make $100 each time then that would easily cover the rent as I now have a roommate and my rent has been cut in half approximately. I found a truly cool guy to rent my room and he even owns a local dealer which sells musical equipment. He is a musician also and plays in clubs around the country and makes a pretty good living from it. I would appreciate doing that and working less hours at the local contractor. I just need to get a little better with playing the drums and singing and it should all fall into place for certain. I will keep truly working at the Heating, Ventilation and A/C machine dealer for now, doing jobs similar to a/c repair and heat pump replacements. I definitely enjoy working there because it allows me to use my skills in the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment field which my dad taught me some while ago. I guess I could be fine enough with the drumming in multiple years to where I could play in clubs and be fully dedicated to playing music. I honestly love playing the drums and it is even more fun when I can play inside an air conditioned club in the hot months instead of on the streets as I have been doing. It can get truly warm out there to be honest.
