I decided to keep the window A/C
We finally have a central air conditioner in our house, and you have no idea how gleeful I am to say that, to say that I have been waiting for a central air conditioner for a long time is an understatement, I should never have let my wife talk me into buying a home without a central air conditioner.
When we were first looking to buy a house, we did not have a lot of currency, and we were trying to cut costs.
While there were many different things that we could have lived without, my wife had a particular list of things that she wanted in a house, and I knew that I was going to have a hard time pleasing her, and finally, we decided to purchase a home that did not have a central air conditioner. We figured that we would be able to purchase a central air conditioner in a few years when we had a little more money, but until then, we purchased a window air conditioner. This window air conditioner was quite powerful, and it could reach both our study room and our kitchen. After a while, we realized that we couldn’t simply buy a central air conditioner. It would have to be installed, and it was terribly pricey. I spent 2 decades saving up, and we finally have it. I thought that I would be gleeful to throw out the window air conditioner, but I ultimately didn’t. That window air conditioner had been a trusty neighbor throughout the years, and I kept it for the memories.
