I have been waiting for a central HVAC for a long time
We finally have a central HVAC in our house, and you have no idea how gleeful I am to say that, to say that I have been waiting for a central HVAC for a long time is an understatement, and I should never have let our partner talk me into buying a house without a central HVAC.
When we were first looking to buy a house, we did not have a lot of money and we were trying to split costs.
While there were more than 2 different things that we could have lived without, our partner had a list of things that she wanted in a house, and I knew that I was going to have a hard time pleasing her, so we decided to purchase a house that did not have a central HVAC. We figured that we would be able to purchase a central HVAC in a few years when we had a little more money. Until then, we bought a window A/C. This window A/C was quite powerful, and it could reach both our dining room plus our bedroom. After a while, we realized that we couldn’t simply buy a central A/C. It would have to be installed, and it was terribly costly. I spent 2 decades saving up, and we finally have it. I thought that I would be gleeful to throw out the window A/C, however I ultimately didn’t. That window A/C had been a trusty friend throughout the years, and I kept it for the memories.
