It absolutely kills myself and others when I see a retail worker or other menial employee being harassed by clients for something that is outside of their control.
I was a currencyier for a number of years & I was continually being yelled at by the general public for things that I had nothing to do with.
As such, I try my best to be kind & polite to everyone that I meet, no matter what the circumstances are. When I see that other folks are not taking the same approach with their service workers, I tend to get pretty aggravated & protective. That’s how I wound up hiring my mechanic to be a certified heating & cooling specialist at my HVAC service dealership last year. I was having my car ran tests on at the local shop because the indoor air pollen levels was declining. I knew that the A/C method needed to be recharged so I brought the car into my number one shop for a quick inspection & cooling method upgrade. While I was dropping off my vehicle, I overheard my mechanic being harassed by an miserable customer because the shop was unable to service his air conditioning method to his standards. The mechanic was limited with what he could do for the cooling method because the shop only had certain unit for him to use on the air quality control mechanics. It sounded adore the mechanic absolutely knew his way around a cooling system, & it killed myself and others that he was being treated so poorly in this industry. When I picked up my car that evening, I asked the mechanic if he might adore to apprentice at my heating & cooling service shop. This week, the mechanic turned HVAC professional is my best air quality control specialist on the team, & he’s never been yelled at again.
