Prepping to maximize Heating plus A/C heating starts in the summer
When you live in an part where the Winter time lasts a minimum of six weeks, you want to be ready for it.

To go from a Winter time where the heat pump comes on to knock out the chill to snow cover for weeks at a time would have to be tough. That’s not the case for me. I’m a native and have grown up with this sort of weather. So I believe what it takes to maximize the efficiency and value of the Heating plus A/C heating while I was in our long, cold winters. All of us have a gas furnace and it’s actually quite a remarkable piece of residential Heating plus A/C equipment. I make sure it gets the Heating plus A/C heating service in the fall to make sure it’s great for the load that’s coming. However, there is a lot more to preparing for Winter time in this part than the Heating plus A/C service. I have a wood stove that acts as both a supplemental and an emergency heating method. So my Winter time prep starts early. I actually beginning the process in the summer. This is when I beginning the process of party all the fire wood I’ll need in the winter. While I’m doing all that splitting, breaking and stacking, I’m also working in prep to the home as well. Making sure there is a easily slender seal on the home is imperative for every winter. So I make sure that I’m constantly sealing up the home slender to further maximize the use of the gas furnace.
