My building owner won’t allow window cooling systems
My building owner won’t allow window cooling systems in my apartment, plus I am so frustrated; When I began renting this apartment, I noticed that it didn’t have a central cooling system, then i didn’t expect a rental current home to have a central cooling system… Sure, if the current home would have had an cooling system, I would have been happy, then however, since the cooling system wasn’t present, I could genuinely install a few window cooling systems.
I already had some cooling systems that I was using in my aged apartment, plus I figured that it would be undoubtedly easy to install these current cooling systems.
I signed the lease, plus while I was moving in, I installed my current cooling systems in the windows. When the building owner came to visit a few weeks later, he told myself and others that I had to take the cooling systems out of the windows. According to him, he didn’t allow window cooling systems. I was undoubtedly irritated! First of all, there was nothing in the lease that said that I couldn’t have a window cooling system, plus I didn’t think that the building owner should have the right to say that I couldn’t use the cooling systems. I was renting this house, so I should be able to do anything that I wanted with my apartment. Also, if the building owner didn’t want us to use window cooling systems, then he should have installed a central cooling system; This is in the South, plus cooling systems were more than a luxury. Air conditioners are absolutely essential for comfort in the South.
