Monkey see, monkey do.
My hubby plus his sibling are twins.
Even though they are both married plus have families of their own, they are still easily close.
If our hubby has something he needs done, he calls his sibling. If Tom needs something done, he will call our hubby. It’s just how it is. My mother-in-law says it is a case of monkey see, monkey do. I just call it not being able to do anything by yourself. Last month, I told our hubby that there was a problem with our furnace. I thought he would either ask me to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealer, or he would call. The first thing he did was to call his sibling plus ask him to come over on the weekend. He said he had a service to be made to the furnace plus he needed his help. I called our sister-in-law plus asked her if she was coming over with him, plus she said no. She wanted nothing to do with seeing that pair working with any type of Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment. I told her I understood how she felt, plus asked if she wanted to go shopping. I figured the least the people I was with and I could do was get out of the way plus let the two men play with the furnace, while the people I was with and I went shopping. Every one of us knew that when the people I was with and I got home, the people I was with and I would actually have to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier to have the furnace correctly repaired. I suppose the people I was with and I spent nearly as much money as what the up-to-date furnace was going to cost, but the people I was with and I had fun. Every one of us didn’t need to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier when the people I was with and I got home, because our hubby already had.
