Went camping with my in laws
Due to the fact that all of us live in one of the most humid regions of the country, its almost suicide to spend time outdoors without having some form of air conditioning system close, so I tip my hat to all of the people that all of us saw at the campground who only had basic tents and gear
When my father in law asked my family and I the other day if I would be interested in heading off on a family camping trip I wasn’t sure what to expect! Don’t get me wrong I really like my inlaws, but up until that point I had never taken them as the camping type. These are the same people that will be in a pizzeria and will tell the waiter they are miserable because the air conditioner is set to 70 degrees and not 72. My father in law went on to tell my family and I that the style of camping they would be doing wasn’t the traditional kind, we were going in the family RV. I had never done anything like this before, but it definitely sounded interesting! Being able to come home from a long hike and have the air conditioner in the RV to cool you down was really great. Due to the fact that all of us live in one of the most humid regions of the country, its almost suicide to spend time outdoors without having some form of air conditioning system close, so I tip my hat to all of the people that all of us saw at the campground who only had basic tents and gear. However, I think that my in-laws, my family and I will stay with the amazing air conditioning, comfortable beds, and built-in shower. You can call it lame or not authentic if you would like, but I think this is how all forms of camping should be done!
