The AC technician came to our home for the annual HVAC tune-up

After cleaning the air filter, the AC professional began checking the wiring then proceeded to replace the capacitor.

Mom left that day with strict instructions. I wasn’t allowed to leave the house until all the repairs were done. We had contractors working in the backyard to mend the fence. A massive storm had blown part of it off. It left a gap that exposed the house to the neighbors. The contractor was busy figuring out how to make the fence stronger to avoid similar issues in the future. Later that day, the HVAC repair person was coming for the annual AC tune-up. I couldn’t wait because I loved watching him work on the air conditioning equipment. It was my goal to study the same course in trade school the following year. When I saw the HVAC van pull up, I met the AC technician at the door. He started by checking the thermostat then we switched off the air ventilation unit. The air conditioner had been making some noise which mom was concerned about. My guess was the air filter was clogged up. But, I wanted to hear the opinion of the AC expert. He began taking apart the indoor cooling unit. My thoughts were correct because the air filter had lots of debris and dirt. It blocked proper air distribution in and out of the house, causing the HVAC system to make noise. Luckily, the situation wasn’t worse since mom had contacted the AC company about the annual aircon maintenance as stated in the service contract. After cleaning the air filter, the AC professional began checking the wiring then proceeded to replace the capacitor. After that, we headed to the outdoor HVAC system. It was inside a breathable shed which kept it safe from the elements and our dogs. There wasn’t much wrong with it, so we went back inside, fixed the air filter, and turned the air conditioner back on.
