People just don’t get it sometimes

When I try to explain to people about what I do for a living, they sometimes just do not get how tough of a job it could be sometimes. I am a certified heating and air conditioning specialist. And in being a certified heating and air conditioning specialist, it requires some really long days depending on the kind of HVAC work that comes my way. Now for instance, if I have a day where all I have to do is instal central heating and air conditioning systems, although it is hard work, I have it down to a science and it is almost the same process for every single modern home on the market today. But when I have a lot of heating and air conditioning system repair jobs to do in a day, those are where it gets tricky and tough sometimes. I could be at one home repairing a central heating and air conditioning system that could be an easy fix. Then the next hour I could be at some commercial building that has a rooftop HVAC system that is in real bad shape. Dealing with rooftop HVAC systems is a nightmare! If I was an independent heating and air conditioning contractor I would possibly not even take rooftop HVAC system repair calls and state it up front. But the HVAC company I work for takes it, so I have to fix them. When I explain this to people they kind of look at me confused or just simply don’t even know what I mean. But regardless, this is my career!
