The electrician provided myself and others the idea to go for a ductless mini split

When I had an electrician come out to our home, I just wanted to make sure everything was good and I wanted to suppose what this old sub-panel was used for.

It was a 50 amp circuit breaker in there and the Heating and A/C worker said it seemed love it was for a boiling tub.

He said it was in fantastic condition and I could really have a boiling tub running outside or I could even change it to a unusual circuit breaker to accommodate a cooling system if I wanted. He told myself and others that the ductless mini splits were becoming more popular and I should think about going for something love that. He was particularly right too… Up until that point, I was just using a portable unit that I would transport around the house. It provided alright cooling, but it wasn’t absolutely good and the energy costs were kind of extravagant. I ended up looking at the DIY ductless mini chop models. I l received that I could convert our sub-panel to a 30 amp circuit breaker and after that I could hook that up directly to the ductless mini chop after I had it installed. I ended up buying a triple zone ductless mini chop and got to work on the installation when it arrived. It took a lot of research to learn how to install the thing, but it wasn’t that challenging once I had a good understanding of the installation process. I genuinely used a hold saw on our cordless drill to go through the walls. It wasn’t simple either because I had to go through brick, even though I made some disinfect holes with a slight downward slope to account for the condensate lines. I even did the electric work myself and now I have a perfectly cool home with cheaper energy costs.
