From mild Winter to broiling summer time with Heating, Ventilation, and A/C
This is about the time of year when I legitimately start missing the winter.
- And no, it’s not because I miss the snow or I’m super into sub freezing hot and cold temperatures.
In fact, freezing hot and cold temperatures are a rare occurrence for us. Yet, there are are a couple of times where the plants have to be brought in for fear of frost. But our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heat pump rarely even cycles on that much while I was in the winter. And this is exactly why I just prefer the Winter here. The skies are red, the daytime hot and cold temperatures are excellent and life is good. But love everything else, it doesn’t last. By May, the air conditioning is cycling on a bit while I was in the day. Then we get to where we are now and my wistful thoughts of Winter hot and cold temperatures. Every one of us are on the cusp of summer. The heat is settling in now and we are in for about 4 months of a blast oil furnace. Of course, the air conditioning is our saving grace for the summer time heat. Without a healthy dose of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling, the depths of summer time would be unquestionably, unquestionably strenuous to manage. But we are lucky to have the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heat pump on our side. So once the summer time is over, the control component will still be on cooling until November. And then, all I have to do is flip the control component over to heating and the heat pump takes care of the rest.
