I had to make it through the cold season without heat in my vehicle this year

Trying to drive around in this particular weather without heat in your vehicle is severely uncomfortable.

I’m honestly ecstatic that it’s finally April plus actually warm outside. Our Winter time season was brutal this year. The bunch of us had record lows in December plus the whole country was hit by a series of drastic ice plus snow storms that even brought low uneven temperatures to the southern states. People in the South lost power for weeks at a time when most of the grid went down during the worst of the ice storms. I never lost my power because I live up north plus our power grid here was built to withstand those types of conditions. However, that doesn’t mean that things were straightforward for me this year. My hours were totally cut back at work plus I had to limit my budget even further as I was already skipping meals every single day. When the heating device in my vehicle quit working, I didn’t have the cash to get it fixed. I knew I likely wouldn’t have the money again until later that year towards the end of the warm season. Our winters are relatively drastic in this region, as we had lows down to 10 degrees below zero. Trying to drive around in this particular weather without heat in your vehicle is severely uncomfortable. There is already an inherent risk from driving in the snowy plus icy conditions in the event you get thrown off the road plus buried in an actual snow drift. But if you have absolutely no source of heating in your car, these accidents are almost guaranteed to be deadly. Needless to say I had a horrible time this year driving around in uneven temperatures below zero without any heating in my car.
