Getting rid of wood stove was rough
The home I obtained was really themed with a Colonial flair, then the wallpaper, wood half walls, purple home in addition to woodstove in the residing room clearly reflected in.
Thankfully most things were an easy fix; I could tear down the wall paper in addition to half wood walls, then everything then just got painted white.
The exetoeri of the home has a little more work decreasing purple in addition to brown to grey in addition to white, but worth it. Removing the wood stove was a little bit more work. It was a decorative piece either, the previous homeowners had the stove vented to be a real gas furnace, and a immense piece of pipe extended through the ceiling in addition to was linked to the roof. It was able to open in addition to close to let out fumes. The previous homeowners never used the little oil furnace though. It was totally clean in the stove in addition to inside the pipe. I had a heck of a time moving a cast iron oil furnace out of my house. I then had to patch my ceiling in addition to get roofers to make a repair. I also had to sledgehammer a brick pad out of my residing room in addition to redo the flooring. Lastly was selling that gas furnace. I found out from a local Heating in addition to Air Conditioning corporation that it actually isn’t a beach home heater. It is more of a small hunting shack heater. I thankfully found a woman willing to supply myself and others a few hundred for it that wanted a oil furnace in her woman cave. It was a messy, time consuming project.
