Our HVAC unit was blowing out too much air
Our HVAC unit was blowing out too much air and it was kicking up dust in my home.
- I had only had my central air conditioner and furnace for a few months when this started happening.
I would use my smart thermostat to set the fan on low, but when the central air conditioner turned on, it would still blow out air so quickly it was like a fan was blowing through the entire house. The papers in my office would fly everywhere. I went on my computer to an online HVAC website to see if I could find out what was wrong with my central air conditioner and maybe fix it myself without having to call an HVAC technician. I searched and searched, but I knew I would not be able to fix the air ducts or central air conditioner on my own. It could be my furnace that was the problem for all I knew. I gave in and called the heating and cooling business and asked them if they could send me an air conditioner expert. The soonest they could get an HVAC technician to my house wasn’t for three days later, which was tragic. For those three days it was scorching hot outside, and I was forced to turn my central air conditioner on. I did what I had tried before. I went to the smart thermostat and set the central air conditioner on a low fan, but it didn’t work and sent air rushing through my home. The papers in my office were scattered and disorganized. For the next two days I had to deal with this obnoxious central air conditioner, and in the evening when it got really cold, my hot water boiler heating system would do the same thing.
