There are spiders in the HVAC duct!

The people I was with and I don’t use our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system a whole lot.

  • I recognize both of us are fortunate to live in an area with easily temperate temperatures.

Most of the time both of us stay moderate enough with just a space oil furnace in the living room in the winter. In the summer, both of us usually just open the windows plus turn on the ceiling fans. However, there are a few weeks of the year where both of us do need central heat or air, then last week was 1 of those weeks, and before turning on the a/c I decided to take a look at the filter. After all, our air filter hadn’t been changed in over 6 months. I pulled the air filter out plus hastily dropped it because there was a big, hairy spider on it. The spider scampered away plus I went to update the filter when 2 more sizable spiders came out of the HVAC duct. I knew it was time to call up the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals. I don’t want spiders raining down on us from the vents when I turn on the a/c. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C specialists did a HVAC duct cleaning plus an Heating, Ventilation & A/C tune-up. After that I was able to use our a/c safely. I recognize both of us unquestionably should use it more often just to make sure nothing else starts living in our HVAC duct. Besides, the specialists said it is healthy for the unit to run a little more often. Maybe this year I will turn on the fan opportunity instead of using the ceiling fan. In winter, both of us can use the heat at a low setting instead of using a space heater. After all, that is what the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system is there for. The people I was with and I might as well use it.
