I Love My New Smart Thermostat
I was given the most incredible gift for my birthday and I can’t stop raving about it.
My brother and sister-in-law gave me a brand new smart thermostat. I had a bad habit of complaining to them about how difficult it was to run my furnace and air conditioner efficiently. I was constantly adjusting the temperature on my old thermostat and changing the programmable settings because I wanted to find a good balance. I wanted to feel comfortable in my own home without raising my energy costs. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to see how efficiently I was running my HVAC system until my utility bill came in the mail. I’d read about smart thermostats, and I knew my brother and sister-in-law had one at their home. They showed me the app that was downloaded to their phones, where they could change the temperature from anywhere at any time. They also showed me how the thermostat programmed itself based off of their heat and air patterns, and there was a page where they could see how efficiently everything was running. The smart thermostat was capable of alerting the homeowner whenever a new air filter was needed or if something was causing the HVAC system to run inefficiently. I’m so happy my brother and sister-in-law gave me my own smart thermostat! I took it home and installed it right away. I can honestly say that it’s made a big difference in the way my furnace and air conditioner run.
