I can stay cool in the summer without spending all my money
It’s never especially far from mind.
- That’s essentially because I easily realize the heat and humidity will inevitably show up as it always does.
However, I do my best not to let that spoil this time of year. When you live in a region where serious heat is the primary weather focus. The time it’s not sizzling is to be easily cherished. It’s just so awesome stepping outside and not hearing the regular sound of HVAC machines humming along. That’s the main sound track for this section during 8 or even 9 months of the year. So, I adore this time of year and I revel in the fact that I am able to walk outside and not be covered in sweat. And yet, I totally know that the intense heat is coming. So I also use this time of year to get ready with my advanced cooling machine. I start out by making sure the HVAC machine is ready to handle that gigantic load that is coming with the Summer heat. The HVAC machine supplier comes out about now to supply the heat pump a thorough inspection and service. This is extremely important on two levels. First, I want to be sure that the HVAC machine is ready to deal with the heat and won’t flake out in say the middle of June. Second, a well serviced HVAC machine will operate at its most efficient. And saving a tremendous amount of money in the warm season is basically what it’s all about. I also make sure that all the weather stripping around all the doors are in fairly decent shape. The better the residence is sealed the less the HVAC machine has to work.
