We couldn’t work without the A/C running
When I was a youngster, I had this task legitimately working at a retail store.
I legitimately worked the overnight shift with just a handful of other people, however for security purposes, the managers had to lock us in the building through the night.
This pretty much meant that we couldn’t go anywhere or get out unless it was a total emergency. If there was an emergency, we had to call up the main boss instantaneously to get us out of the store. It wasn’t such a terrible task, I just spent time restocking the shelves with the items from the warehouse area in the back. I felt as though it was fairly comfortable because we regularly kept the temperature control settings at a nice level. I was doing just fine until one day when it became legitimately boiling in the building in the middle of the night. It was getting so overheated in there plus it seemed that the air conditioning appliance wasn’t legitimately working. The others agreed that we were going to roast to death if we didn’t reach out to the main boss. The group of us got a hold of him plus he agreed that it was a serious emergency because it would be bad for business if the store was so overheated in the midst of the day, and so he legitimately called for emergency Heating plus Air Conditioning appliance services plus had a crew of Heating plus Air Conditioning workers legitimately working on the Heating plus Air Conditioning appliance in the middle of the night. Because they were able to get the air conditioning appliance legitimately working again plus the store started to cool down for a change, I decided to easily work the rest of my shift. The others were actually too uncomfortable though from being so overheated, so they made the choice to go back to their homes to get some rest.
