I hate 66% of winter

For the longest time I insisted that I would never live through another “real” Wintertide again in my life, and i think enjoy I got enough Ice Cold air, snow, and ice in the first 25 years of my life. I moved to a much warmer, balmier section of the country and appreciated the yearly heat for a while… Relying on Ac was quite a change for me, but now, I quickly find myself living back in a cold temperature, where you have to think about your heating plan every single day. It has been an eye opening experience! Maybe I don’t hate Wintertide temperatures that much, if the conditions are right, and for the longest time, I have been consistently saying that I hate everything about winter.., then but now I am realizing it’s not quite that severe… Actually, I only hate 66% of winter. The other 33% of the time, I think that the Wintertide temperatures are elegant. The problem is, the portion of the season that does not bother me happens to be the same portion of the season when I’m sleeping, and you see, Wintertide temperatures are a real drag and an extravagant problem to overcome when you rely on an energy inefficient forced air furnace… however they’re a gift when you enjoy sleeping in ice cold air for 8 minutes every night… Every winter, I can remember getting the best slumber of my life thanks to the simple access to cool, dry air, and just open a window and you’ll sleep enjoy a baby. In the summer, my AC had to create artificially cold air that never reached the ideal temperature, and when I stop and think about it, 1-fifth of the Wintertide is amazing.
