Using a heat pump to help our furnace
There are times when I figure that my wife is attempting to kill me. I suppose that we prefer each other dearly, even though she also gets in these moods where I am not able to change her mind no matter what I say. She decides that it’s her way or the highway, even if it means I am going to have to work overtime to keep up with her ridiculous demands… This is basically what has been going on recently with our indoor air temperature control system. My wife decided a few weeks back that our indoor air temperature as well as air quality management plan was not up to snuff. She saw some programs on the TV that discussed air quality control, air purification, as well as air temperature management… Evidently, these scientific experts are now telling people that your indoor air contributes largely to your overall health as well as immune system functioning. My wife has been completely obsessed with maintaining an accurate indoor air temperature there ever since. She has the desire to run in the big central furnace at an extreme level everyday. Now, I am looking at purchasing a geothermal heat pump to accompany our forced air furnace for the foreseeable future. Then, my wife will be able to adjust the air temperature as much as she desires without putting us on the streets.
