I have never had any type of high expectations. I am a relatively happy person. I am usually sure that those around are able to be relied on. I know that I can also rely on the things to help me to do my job properly. When my partner says he is going to clean the house, I am relatively certain that the house is going to be cleaned. I like when I get reward points on my credit cards. I’m not a difficult person, but I do like punctuality and competence. Last week I called the HVAC company and asked them to install a new air conditioning unit in our summer house. I thought the HVAC specialist was going to be just that; a specialist. Our old air conditioning unit had been struggling in an effort to keep that house cool. When we bought the summer house, we knew it needed a new air conditioning unit, and the time had finally come. The HVAC technician showed up at the house right on time. He had the air conditioning unit that we picked out and he was ready to install the AC unit. I was so excited until I saw him destroy my hardwood flooring and the air conditioning unit he was trying to install. He was the most incompetent HVAC technician and now I had to have the HVAC company replace my flooring and install another AC unit. This means either myself or my partner will need to be off work just to make sure the repairs are done properly and the AC unit is installed properly. I don’t think I have ever been this upset.
