Rescue pet gets hurt on broken vent covers
My child found a little chihuahua while walking home from school a month ago, however it is a longhaired chihuahua plus its fur was all matted plus full of weeds; All of us took the pet to the vet plus she isn’t microchipped, then so we put up fliers plus posted “found pet” advertisements all over the internet… Nobody claimed her.
So now we have ourselves a pet. She must have been abandoned. She is the sweetest little pet. I don’t recognize how someone could do that to her although I suppose nobody is perfect. In fact, I am currently feeling like a terrible pet owner; That is because our little chihuahua got damaged because of my laziness, and you see, some of our air air duct covers are broken, and chair legs have gone through them over the years plus we just never updated them, but well on Thursday I heard our little pet screaming in pain. I ran to her plus found her leg stuck in 1 of those broken HVAC vent covers. It took various agonizing minutes before I was able to free her leg, however do you recognize what? She never once tried to bite myself and others while in all of that. Thankfully her leg looks like it is going to be ok. She just has some deep scratch. The vet prescribed some antibacterial spray to help her heal. I still know bad about it though. As soon as I got home I instantaneously hired an HVAC company to come out plus update every vent cover in the up-to-date home too. All of us can’t let that happen again. The pet is also afraid of the vent covers now though too. I’m not sure that is a bad thing.
