I don’t miss renting or the HVAC that went with it
Unlike numerous of our peers, somehow I was able to own a beach house the vast majority of our adult life.
Actually, I don’t think I lived in an beach house for much more than a year after university.
I ended up saving up to buy a small cottage with baseboard heating plus window air conditioning. It wasn’t self-explanatory but, I’m entirely blissful that I chose to buy plus build equity from the start. Money was slender however I ended up making a good profit on that cottage when I sold it. That was awesome because it allowed me to buy a nice site with good HVAC to start our life with our partner. From there, all of us purchased another site when the kids started coming along. In fact, all of us just sold that site after upgrading the HVAC. Boy, do I ever miss that HVAC. When all of us sold that house, all of us decided to pare down our lives. That meant going into a rented home for a while. With the kids gone plus retirement looming in the not so distant future, all of us wanted to supply ourselves a chance to figure out our next move. So renting seemed the thing to do. That looks as though it is hastily becoming a mistake. I miss the afternoons where I could simply do something about whatever wasn’t right in our home. Don’t get me wrong, I adore not having to split our turf. And having the rental company take care of some issues is fine. However, they are not taking care of the HVAC at all. I have come to the conclusion that this is due to the HVAC not being at all the right size for the volume of the condo.
