A close call

I remember back when I used to toil as a heating and air conditioner specialist I had some pretty dangerous tasks a few times, then working a lot in commercial heating and air conditioner maintenance it was a bit strange than your average heating and air conditioner worker, one time I had a entirely close call while working in a church trying to maintenance their commercial heating and cooling system.

I was way up on a scaffold because it was a cathedral type church, and the air vents were all the way up there.

After the maintenance of the commercial heating and cooling system I had to make some current adjustments to the air vents which were not directed respectfully in the church. Well, to make a long story short the scaffold had a little issue and it came entirely close to me falling almost 50 feet to my death to the hard stone flooring of the church! Lucky for me I had a safety restraint on, so when it all went wrong I was protected by that and was able to sort of scale my way down the wall back to the ground safely. But that was an seriously close call! And this was also what ended up leading to me leaving the heating and air conditioner corporation I was working for. I ended up going to toil for a heating and air conditioner business that only dealt in residential heating and air conditioner replacement and repair. With that it was safe and there would never be any dangers.
